Dr. Isaacson is Board Certified in Neurology since 1994, and is a fellowship-trained specialist in Movement Disorders, including Parkinson's Disease, essential tremor, dystonia, botulinum toxin injections, and deep brain stimulation. |

Dr. Isaacson received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 1988, and then completed a medical internship at St. Luke's- Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. His Neurology training was obtained at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York under Dr. Melvin Yahr, where he subsequently was named Chief Resident in 1991-2. |

From 1992 through 1995, Dr. Isaacson was a Clinical Associate at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. System Studies, where he developed a laboratory method to study gene expression in brain tissue. He also was involved in patient care at the NIH Clinical Center. During these years at the NIH, Dr. Isaacson was a Medical Officer (Lieutenant Commander) in the Public Health Service. |

In 1995, Dr. Isaacson returned to New York City as Assistant Professor of Neurology at Mount Sinai Medical Center and as Assistant Attending Physician at the Mount Sinai Hospital. After receiving further fellowship training in Movement Disorders under Drs. Warren Olanow, Mitchell Brin, and Melvin Yahr, Dr. Isaacson joined the faculty of the Mount Sinai Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center, a National Parkinson's Foundation Center of Excellence. There he was involved in clinical research studies, and also developed a basic science laboratory research program focused on mechanisms of neurodegeneration and possible causes of Parkinson's Disease. |

In 1997, Dr. Isaacson relocated to South Florida, and in 1999 established The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center of Boca Raton. He is a member of the Movement Disorders Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the Section on Movement Disorders of the AAN, and the American Medical Association. He has published numerous articles and abstracts, and has given scientific presentations at national and international meetings on Parkinson's Disease. Dr. Isaacson also is a frequent speaker at local support groups, for physician continuing education, and serves on a number of pharmaceutical advisory boards. |

Currently, Dr. Isaacson is coordinating plans to reestablish his laboratory in South Florida, and to expand the Center's activities to provide extensive supportive services; patient, caregiver, and community education; and access to clinical research studies. |

His Neurology training was obtained at the University of Massachusetts/Memorial Health Care Center under Dr. David Drachman, where he subsequently was named Chief Resident in 2001-2002. |

From 2002-2003, Dr. Kreitzman was a Clinical Instructor of Neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. There he gained fellowship training in Parkinson?s Disease and Movement disorders under Drs. Stephen Fink, Robert Feldman, Samuel Ellias, Peter Novak, and Director of the Movement disorders program, Marie Saint-Hilaire. He served as a clinician in their very busy Parkinson?s Disease and Movement Disorders Center and helped launch their comprehensive deep brain stimulator program which included pre-screening, intra-operative recording, and post-operative programming of the DBS stimulators. Additionally he was a Sub-Investigator in several clinical pharmaceutical studies as well as other clinical research studies. |

In 2003 he relocated back to his hometown on Long Island, New York. He is a member of the Movement Disorders Society and the American Academy of Neurology. He has published articles and abstracts in journals of his profession, and has given scientific presentations at national and international meetings on Parkinson's Disease. Dr. Kreitzman serves on a number of pharmaceutical advisory boards. |

Currently, Dr. Kreitzman is the Director of the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center of Long Island. He has implemented comprehensive modalities for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease, tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders at the Center and an expansion of the Center's activities to provide extensive supportive services; patient, caregiver, and community education; and access to clinical research studies is currently underway. |
